MTPU Urban Public Transport Improvement Program
Abstract
MTPU Program contributes to Latin America’s urban development by promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth, while mobilizing resources to finance environmental and climate change actions. The support for the projects is a joint effort between the cities, the European Union, KFW, and CAF, to conduct technical studies and encourage public mobility initiatives aiming at leverage investment in programs to improve people’s quality of life, through the improvement of public transport infrastructure and the reduction of urban transport externalities.
